This New Year, a fresh face is going to make debut in the bollywood against none other than heartthrob Salman Khan from “Gadar – Ek Prem Katha” fame, director Anil Sharma’s upcoming fiction drama “ Veer” and she is Zarine Khan.

Zarine Khan is just 21 year old, mumbai-based girl who started her career from modeling and soon became a popular name in modeling circuit. Well, every year many fresh beauties make their debut in b-town and most of them go unnoticed, if they don’t have any solid filmy or celebrity family background, but this is not the case with Zarine Khan…she is getting everyone’s attention. the directors, producers as well as audience. No doubt she is priety , looks innocent but the major reason for giving her big attention is that she looks alike Katrina Kaif up.
Even people who have seen both the girls Zarine Khan & Katrina Kaif. They say,its difficult to point out any difference in their looks through a distance. Definitely Zarine is very pretty but perhaps her matching looks with kat were the reason to cast her for the movie.
Another interesting fact about Zarine’s debut is her healthy body much more as compare to other bollywood hotties. Zarine weighs 62 kgs and along with her cuteness, shyness and beauty. Her weight is also talk of the town these days.
When director Anil Sharma was asked on this, he explained,
“Veer required a leading actress who resembled a woman in the 18th century. The women of the time were full-bodied and voluptuous. Zarine Khan was too thin for the character and hence we asked her to gain weight. To achieve this Zarine was put on chocolate cake diet, also her dresses like gowns, saris,blowses were designed like that she look older and bigger than her actual age and figure but Zarine still looks outstanding.
Well, time will say, will Zarine be able to achieve the huge success like her look alike Katrina or will be lost in this Tinsel Ville after her debut movie?
