With this big win, Vidya also gave a indirect alarm to fellow glamorous ladies that though she is lacking a little in carrying style and glamour unlike them but she is defiantly above all these secondary things because her accurate acting speaks more than her dress & makeup.

Vidya is signing many new films. Recently, India’s leading fashion designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee has signed Vidya for her film, which will be his directorial debut. Vidya has been signed opposite Prateek Babbar (son of late Ms Smita Patil and Raj Babbar). Guesses are on that perhaps Konkana Sen Sharma will also be signed for the movie.

Sabyasachi and Vidya Balan are close friends since Sabyasachi designed Vidya’s makeup and apparels for “Paa”. Sabyasachi is quite impressed with Vidya’s acting sense especially in Paa.

He told, his movie would be a light romantic comedy based on NRIs living in London and shoot will start in month of June this year. Most of the shoot will be done in Punjab and London. Sabyasachi himself has written the script and his scripting work is still on.

Apart from this project, Probably, Vidya’s next release this year will be director Vibhu Puri’s film “ Chennab Gandhi” in which she is once again working with Big B and Aamir fame Rajiv Khanderwal.
