Jane Tu Ya Jane Na’s cute “Aditi” aka beautiful Genelia D’Souza is back in demand once again. However, this time not on the silver screen but she is in much demand on the advertising circuit. In “Jane Tu…”, Genelia impressed the audience by her magical performance in role of “Aditi”.

But since then Genelia’s two big films “Life Partner” opposite Fardeen Khan &, “Chance Pe Dance” opposite Shahid Kapoor are released but none of them did so well on the box-office and thus Genelia could not en-cash Jane Tu’s grand success. It was a great day for Lara Dutta last week, when her family, friends and close relatives from all across the world planned together and came down to one place just to give a two days long, grand surprise celebration to Lara on the completion of ten years of wining precious Miss Universe crown.

Nearly a decade back, Lara won the Miss universe title. Lara was so touched and overwhelmed with this surprise event specially planned by her loved ones. The actress expressed her emotions. “Lara said, “I think I cried more at this celebration than I did when I won!”.

In the year 2000, Lara won the Miss Universe title and the very same year her fellow ladies, Priyanka Chopra and Diya Mirza also won Miss World and Miss Asia Pacific crowns respectively.

In fact, both Lara and Priyanka started off their careers with the same film ” Andaaz” opposite Akshay Kumar but in the span of 9 -10 years, Priyanka’s career has reached to new heights and she is considered much more popular and successful than Lara.

What could be the reason? May be the wrong selection of films or hard luck..whatever be the cause but despite of good looks, sharp acting skills and great professional attitude, Lara had never got such a huge hit and challenging role like Priyanka’s “Fashion”.

But it seems now Lara’s stars are favoring her and she is back on the track. Her last few releases, “Billu”, ” Do Knot Disturb” were considered good on the box-office and moreover, Lara’s performance was well received by filmy pandits, critics and audience, all of them.

Even, her latest release, Sajid Khan’s multi starer “Housefull” is declared a hit and Lara is getting rave reviews for her comic sense and timing. When Lara was asked about “Housefull” success, she said, “I enjoyed working on the film and it was great to be associated with all these people.

It was a wonderful opportunity and not just did I have so many great scenes but also ended up working with number of animals”. She further adds, “I was the most thrilled living being at that time”, remembers Lara, “Sajid had so much faith in me.

The biggest compliment that he gave me was when he compared me with Madhuri (Dixit) and Sridevi when it came to comedy. I am glad he saw such potential in me.”

This year, Lara’s one more big film is set to release soon which is Salman Khan, Govinda and Tabu starer “Banda Yeh Bindass Hai”. The film’s expected release date is 25th June so all of you Lara’s fans just gear up to watch the movie soon after release.

Desi Girl, Priyanka Chopra, will now be seen in a new ruf-tuf avatar and that also on small screen. Tabloids confirmed that gorgeous Piggi Chops will be new host of next season of Colors TV channel’s most popular realty show ” Khatraon Ke Khiladi” which was earlier being hosted by action man, Akshay Kumar for first two seasons.

The another interesting thing about this season is, instead of models and celebrity girls from different fields, this time cricketers will be participants on the show.

Hmmm…who else than hot Priyanka Chopra could handle the fast cricketers, so it seems Piggi Chops is a perfect choice as a new host. Priyanka is working very hard for the show.

Once again, a former Miss India (2007) and popular MTV VJ, Sarah Jane Dias, is ready to kick off her bollywood career with Ritesh Sidhwani & Farhan Akhtar’s company Excel Entertainment’s upcoming movie “ Crooked”.

Crooked will be Sarah’s first Hindi film but she has already made her debut in Tollywood via romantic comedy, Theeradha Vilaiyattu Pillai opposite actor Vishal Krishna. Abhishek Bacchan is playing the lead role and Sarah will be playing Abhishek’s love interest in the movie. Ex – ad filmmaker Abhinay Deo will direct the movie. According to tabloids, choosy Frahan Akhtar & Ritesh Sidhwani took more than 100 auditions last year and then finally selected Sara last January.

Apart from Sarah, two other ladies, Kangana Ranaut & Rock On fame Shahana Goswami have been signed for the film. This film is supposed to be an action thriller and most of its shooting is planned to be done in Greece, Thailand, UK and Mumbai.

After wining the most prestigious National film award in best supporting actress category for Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Fashion”, bollywood’s so called Talli girl Kangna Ranaut is flying on cloud nine, gained a new level of confidence and make a heavy revision in her fee.

According to some tabloids, when recently Kangna was approached to sign a new film, she demanded 5 crore as her fee. And tv actor turned producer Anuj Saxena showed no hesitation at all to accept the proposal & signed Kangna immediately. Pooja Kashyap, COO of Anuj Saxena’s production company Maverick Productions confirmed this and stated, “Kangna is a great actress. She adds lots of value to a film. What we have paid her is fully justified.”

This untitled movie will be a romantic musical and “Deadline” fame Tanveer Khan will direct it. Famous politician from Bihar- Jharkhand region, Ram Vilas Paaswan’s son Chirag Passwan will play the main lead and make his debut in bollywood via this film. Film’s story has space for three heroines and other two actresses will be signed soon.
