After wining the most prestigious National film award in best supporting actress category for Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Fashion”, bollywood’s so called Talli girl Kangna Ranaut is flying on cloud nine, gained a new level of confidence and make a heavy revision in her fee.

According to some tabloids, when recently Kangna was approached to sign a new film, she demanded 5 crore as her fee. And tv actor turned producer Anuj Saxena showed no hesitation at all to accept the proposal & signed Kangna immediately. Pooja Kashyap, COO of Anuj Saxena’s production company Maverick Productions confirmed this and stated, “Kangna is a great actress. She adds lots of value to a film. What we have paid her is fully justified.”

This untitled movie will be a romantic musical and “Deadline” fame Tanveer Khan will direct it. Famous politician from Bihar- Jharkhand region, Ram Vilas Paaswan’s son Chirag Passwan will play the main lead and make his debut in bollywood via this film. Film’s story has space for three heroines and other two actresses will be signed soon.

Well, five crore is quite a big amount for an actress and with this step Kangna has put herself among big names like Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra & Aishwarya Rai. Recently Aishwarya Rai charged 10 crore for a film, Priyanka Chopra charged six crore for her latest release “Pyar Impossible” which was a big flop and Kareena Kapoor is charging seven crores for upcoming “Golmal 3”.

After coming out of break-up with beau Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone is focusing only on her career. The leggy lady also received her first best actress nomination in star screen awards recently for her last year’s hit “Love Aaj Kal”.

Last days there were huge rumors that reality film maker Madhur Bhandarkar has approached Deepika for playing the female lead in sequel of his film “ Corporate” which gave a new identity to Bipasha Basu. But when Deepika was approached and asked on this, actress denied that she is teaming up with Madhur Bhandarkar.

However, she also expressed that she is a great fan of Madhur and if he offer her this film & script is interesting she would love to work with him. He is one of the directors I would love to work with.” said Deepika.

Deepika Padukone started her bollywood journey around 3 years back with Farah Khan’s Om Santi Om opposite Shahrukh Khan & after that, she appeared in films like Bachna Ae Haseeno, Chandni Chauk to China & Love Aaj Kal where she did different kind of roles but all of these were pure commercial masala films.

Deepika wants to show her strong acting capabilities and that’s why now she is looking forward to do some non-glamorous and challenging roles in meaningful and experimental cinema.

Presently, Deepika is busy in promotion of her upcoming flick “ Karthik Calling Karthik” with Farhan Akhtar. Film music is getting very popular especially among young crowd and Deepika herself is coming in a totally different dusky look with short hairs that is attracting guys a lot.

Priyanka Chopra and Kangna Ranuat have proven their excellence by winning most precious award of Indian Cinema – The National Award for reality filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s their last year film “ Fashion”. Last week when awards were announced, Piggi Chops were busy shooting for Sazid Nadiawala’s upcoming flick “ Anjana Anjani” in New York. She spoke right from there she said, “I’m thrilled that I’ve won a National Award so early in my career.

Yes, in her nine years in Bollywood, Priyanka has already notched up some truly remarkable work in films like Fashion and Kaminey. “Fashion is a special film to me. When Madhur narrated the script to me, I knew Meghna Mathur (my character) would leave her mark. While I picked up many awards for this performance including the Filmfare trophy, the National Award came as a natural culmination for a role I truly believed in. I’m grateful to Madhur for his faith in me.

“Fashion was there competing with the best of regional cinema; and then to have still bagged an honour is something that gives me a terrific high. I’m on cloud nine,” she said and added, “I’m happy for my co-actor Kangna Ranaut without who this character wouldn’t be as effective as it was. Congratulations to her also.

On the other side, Kangana celebrated this grand success by treating herself with her favorite ice creames. Kangana is also keeping her fingers crossed for her upcoming flick Hrithik Roshan Starrer “Kites” and Piggi Chops will be seen in Frahan Akhtar’s much awaited thriller Don 2 and Zoya Akhtar’s “ Kismat Talkies”. Actually, their friendship started during the shooting of Kameeney. Shahid saved Priyanka from face injury, when they both slipped and fell from a scooter. Shahid had extended his hand and buffered her face before the fall.

Another statement was made by Piggy chops’ own friends. Priyanka’s friends said , it was like a Mills and Boon romance for Priyanka. Soon the two neighbors, who live in the same building, became close friends. Bipasha Basu’s first Bengali film Rituparna Ghosh’s Shob Charitro Kalponik in which she is playing the most special and challenging role of her career till date, is almost ready. Basu is playing role of Radhika , a Bengali house wife, who came back her home land “Kolkata” in search of her missing husband. The whole film moves around her. In this movie, for the very first time, Bipasha will appear in a non glamorous look, wearing traditional Bengali sarees and big sindoor teeka on forehead. This is one of the most awaited films of her career. But all the excitement and zeal what Bipasha had when she signed the movie is now lost. Leggy lady is not enthusiastic about release of her must awaited film. The reason is that producers of film are willing to replace Bipasha’s voice with someone else but Bips is not at all ready for this at any cost.

Bold Actress says, “When I first came to know I wouldn’t be dubbing my own voice I was furious. I’ve gone through this process of having my voice dubbed by someone else. No way will I allow this to happen to my first Bengali film. In fact one of the reasons why I waited so long to do a Bengali film was because I wanted to be sure I could carry off the lines.”

Now, Film Producers gave another twist to Bipasha saying she can do dubbing in her own voice for one print of the movie which will be sent for national award as any film cannot be submitted for national award if actor’s own voice is not used in it. But Bipasha is not ready to do dubbing for just one print.

Actress says clear cut,” I’ll not let the film be released with someone else’s voice. I know what that does to a performance. And I won’t dub only for the National Award print. I won’t dub for only one print. I want every print to have my voice.” Actress further added “When my first Bengali film releases I want people to hear my voice. I don’t want some alien voice to speak for me. I don’t care if I get awards or not. Why should I dub only for the National award? But I want my voice to be heard by audiences who know me well enough by now not to be conned by another voice.”

Now there is lots of suspense involved in this controversy, many people are making many contradictory statements. According to Director Rituparno Ghosh, if actress is willing and able to do it, she should be allowed to do dubbing. According to Bipasha also, this issue is not raised from Director, it’s from production people.

On the other hand, COO Mahesh Ramanathan says ,” we have no problems regarding dubbing with Bipasha but director Rituparno Ghosh only can tell why she should not dub in her voice.. Well, Film is almost completed but when will it hit the theaters and whether we will be able to listen Bipasha’s voice in the movie, this is still unclear.
