This 5 ft 8.5 inch tall & sweet Bengali beauty is always ready to face challenges of life….so bold and bindaas right from the day she joined industry everyone knows about her love relationship with beau John Abraham and like other actresses she never hide this from media……..Also, Bips never hesitates to speak, always speaks clear and direct whatever she feels. Her voice represents her heart.
When even After giving successful thriller Race and winning lots of appreciation for her performance in it, Bipasha was not casted again by Abbas –Mastan for its sequel Race 2…exactly same happened when Mukesh Bhatt did not re-casted Bipasha for sequel of his superhit movie Raaz.on this………….during an interview couple of months back, when she was asked on this, she said, This industry is mail dominated and heroines do not get so much importance as heroes.
Again Last days, in an interview, Bipasha expressed her views, “The film industry is male-dominated. Heroine-oriented films don’t have the masses coming in. We’re a nation of hero-worshippers. But, things are now improving. There’s no conventional Bollywood heroine anymore. You don’t have to be the sweet, wholesome girl-next-door to be a heroine. The modern heroine posesses many layers, some of them dark. Right from my first two films Ajnabee and Jism to Race, I’ve played women with dark shades”.
Apart from these, when Bipasha was asked about sensitive relationships like Marriage and companionship, the smart babe showed her perky smile and answered beautifully in her own words …“Maybe when you’re in a long-term relationship as I am, marriage means moving into a new home. And you’ve to share a common closet.”
She further explained her views on marriage that marriage importance appears in old age when your kids will be grown up enough and leave home and you and your partner will have plenty of time together…… she said………I see myself and him together as grandparents. I’ll be this sexy, old grandma. That won’t change. I’m sure I’ll give my granddaughters a complex.
Really, this bengali siren is …super sexy and will be same in her entire lifetime……what do you guys think about her…..do write to us.
Hot and Glamorous Bipsha Basu has been appearing in variety of roles since the staring of her career and she portrayed each of them very well. whether it is challenging negative shade character of a woman who is master is lust and can do anything for money in Pooja Bhatt’s “Jism” or a successful business woman, who becomes the victim of dirty corporate politics and brand war in Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Corporate” , the sexy bidi girl “Billo chaman Bahar” of Vishal Bhardwaj’s ”Omkara” or a beloved wife in Vikram Bhatt’s “Raaj“, Bipasha has proven her acting skills each time in every movie and impressed the audience with her quality of inducing herself so naturally in the character.
This time, again, the hot and tall lady has grabbed another big challenging role of a commercial sex worker in her forthcoming movie, “Sonagachi“ , which will be directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyaya. Sudipto is already making “Pankh” with Bipasha .
Where in Pankh, Bipasha is portraying an entirely unique role, an imaginary character which a young man has created, who used to be casted as a girl child in the films in his childhood, and now wanted to be launched as a hero…but became a drug addict because of his family financial problems and misunderstood identity. The male lead will be played by Maradona Rebello.
In Sonagachi, Bipasha is going to play a prostitute who lives in Kolkata’s largest red light area called as Sonagachi. She is playing the character of an emotional nice hearted prostitute who takes care of a child who had suffered with the pain of pedophilia.
Both the movies are on entirely different and touching subjects…. These films will demonstrate Bipsha’s core acting side in a best way.Apart from these two, she has lots of more challenging roles in other movies. Her other forthcoming movies are, Rahul Dholakia’s “Lamha” opposite Sanju baba, Rohit Shetty’s “All the best: The fun begins” with Ajay Devgan and Dutt again and national award winner director Aparn Sen’s ” Gulel“.

Today, Bipasha Basu keeps a distinct and respectable place in bollywood. Known as most stylish and experimental actress of bollywood, Bipasha had proved her acting capabilities and talents with movies like Pooja Bhatt’s Jism, Madhur Bhandarkar’s Corporate and Mukesh Bhatt’s Razz.
Actress is very sensitive, hard working and punctual about her work..
Now if anyone asks this dusky Bengali beauty to dub her voice by someone else for her very first Bengali film, you can imagine how much it will hurt her.
Bipasha Basu’s first Bengali film Rituparna Ghosh’s Shob Charitro Kalponik in which she is playing the most special and challenging role of her career till date, is almost ready. Basu is playing role of Radhika , a Bengali house wife, who came back her home land “Kolkata” in search of her missing husband. The whole film moves around her. In this movie, for the very first time, Bipasha will appear in a non glamorous look, wearing traditional Bengali sarees and big sindoor teeka on forehead. This is one of the most awaited films of her career. But all the excitement and zeal what Bipasha had when she signed the movie is now lost. Leggy lady is not enthusiastic about release of her must awaited film. The reason is that producers of film are willing to replace Bipasha’s voice with someone else but Bips is not at all ready for this at any cost.
Bold Actress says, “When I first came to know I wouldn’t be dubbing my own voice I was furious. I’ve gone through this process of having my voice dubbed by someone else. No way will I allow this to happen to my first Bengali film. In fact one of the reasons why I waited so long to do a Bengali film was because I wanted to be sure I could carry off the lines.”
Now, Film Producers gave another twist to Bipasha saying she can do dubbing in her own voice for one print of the movie which will be sent for national award as any film cannot be submitted for national award if actor’s own voice is not used in it. But Bipasha is not ready to do dubbing for just one print.
Actress says clear cut,” I’ll not let the film be released with someone else’s voice. I know what that does to a performance. And I won’t dub only for the National Award print. I won’t dub for only one print. I want every print to have my voice.” Actress further added “When my first Bengali film releases I want people to hear my voice. I don’t want some alien voice to speak for me. I don’t care if I get awards or not. Why should I dub only for the National award? But I want my voice to be heard by audiences who know me well enough by now not to be conned by another voice.”
Now there is lots of suspense involved in this controversy, many people are making many contradictory statements. According to Director Rituparno Ghosh, if actress is willing and able to do it, she should be allowed to do dubbing. According to Bipasha also, this issue is not raised from Director, it’s from production people.
On the other hand, COO Mahesh Ramanathan says ,” we have no problems regarding dubbing with Bipasha but director Rituparno Ghosh only can tell why she should not dub in her voice.. Well, Film is almost completed but when will it hit the theaters and whether we will be able to listen Bipasha’s voice in the movie, this is still unclear.

The phrase bold and beautiful holds very true for the super sexy Bipasha Basu. This bong bombshell is nothing short of a sex bomb and ever since she joined the film industry, she has been scorching the scene with her hot body and sultry looks. The tall, long legged beauty from Kolkata has proved all those people wrong who said that beauty existed without brains. She is known for her wit, as much as she is known for her beauty.
Bipasha left her home in Kolkata and came down to Mumbai at a very young age to pursue her dreams of making it big in the world of glamour. She took to modeling and soon was crowned a megamodel. That was the beginning of her very illustrious career. From being the number one model in the country to being a hit on the big screen would not be an easy transformation, and the Basu babe was aware of that. As a result, she waited for a good break and finally when she got to do a movie with Akshay Kumar, her efforts really paid off. Her first film was Ajnabee where she got to act with established stars like Bobby Deol and Kareena Kapoor, apart from Akshay Kumar. She infamously did not get along with Kareena Kapoor and their off screen rivalry is still a hot topic for gossip.
After her debut, she got noticed in a big way and was doing films with the biggest stars of the country. Several hits and successes later, Bipasha Basu is today one of the most sought after heroins in the country. With success came rumors, but Bipasha dealt with them quite nicely. She was linked to a string of men, and she quite famously said, “if the men are hot, I don’t mind the rumors.” That beautifully summed up her attitude. She has been in a steady relationship with Bollywood hunk, John Abraham, and the John-Bipasha jodi is considered to be the hottest jodi in Bollywood.
With hits like Jism, No Entry, Bachna Ae Haseeno and Omkara to her Name, Bipasha Basu is one of the most in-demand actresses. She also has one of the best figures and is called the sexiest diva. She is the matter of which fantasies are built of and so very few people can help but admire her! What about you?
