After Slumdog Millionaire I was given scripts to read but was not directly approached. I don’t think I fit the bill”, she was quoted saying in an interview.

As of now Frieda is busy with two international projects in her hands. One project is of the veteran Woody Allen titled ‘You will meet a Tall Dark Stranger’ and the other is a sci fi thriller ‘Rise of the Apes’ where she is acting opposite Spider Man’s fame James Franco. She says that Hollywood is more accepting than Bollywood. She also maintains that she does not get chased around here in India. “They definitely have accepted me much more willingly than in India. I am not famous in India”, she says.

Whatever might be, but the girl feels that she was right in leaving her boyfriend and concentrating on her career. Couple of days back, Frieda did this daring scene for “Immortals”. According to some eyewitness sources, Freida was quite nervous & feeling uncomfortable doing the act and production crew had to face hard time to make her feel normal doing the part.

In fact, scene was shot in almost dark and only very important crew members were allowed to watch the scene.

Director of the film, Tarsem Singh talked to media, ” “Poor girl. It’s the first time we have Freida Pinto and guess what, it’s a sex scene. It’s a delicate situation.

We’re trying to get all of the lights out, so we can create an intimate situation. Only 80 people watching you and 20 of them with video (cameras)”

“Immortals” was initially entitled as “War of the Gods”. This is a Greek story which revolves around the life of a warrior, “Theseus” portrayed by Henry cavill who is leading his soldiers into battle against the immortal gods in order to save mankind.

Pinto is playing female lead, the character of an oracle princess named Phaedra. Stephen Dorff is portraying a master theif who helps Theseus in his battle, Mickey Rourkeis playing King Hyperion, John hurt is portraying character of Zeus and Kellen Lutz is playing God Poseidon. Film is supposed to be released by the end of this year.
