Intelligent bollywood lady with a beautiful photogenic face, Lara Dutta is copying Bips idea. Dusky Bengali beauty Lara, is going to launch her fitness DVD & apparels series in exactly same way as Bipasha Basu launched her fitness DVD range “Fit and Fabulous” recently. Lara seems very excited and serious about the DVDs launch, even she is taking help from beau Mahesh Bhupati to talk to some big sport icons to come and share their views and tips in Lara’s DVDs.
The interesting part of the story is that Bipasha knows about Lara’s plans. She recently made her comments on the matter.
“I have heard that a lot of people are thinking along similar lines. I have no problems if people follow trends but I hope whosoever does it, does it with all their heart, dedication and passion in it and not just as an experiment, or a PR strategy, “ says Bipasha.
Bips even told a tabloid that Lara’s friends were spying on Bipasha’s DVD launch plans. They tried to fetch the information from Bips office and friends indirectly which does not come under professional ethics. In stead, they could have asked her directly.
But on the other side, according to Lara, she is not copying anyone else but the idea of launching her fitness DVD series is totally inspired from her own hard work and success in achieving perfect bikini figure in her last year release “Blue”.
Well, Lara is right now busy in promoting her upcoming flick, Sajid Nadiawala’s “Houseful” with Akshay Kumar, Ritesh Deshmukh and fellow ladies Jiah Khan & Deepika Padukone. Film promos are out and Lara is looking quite hot. Now the question arises, Will this multi starer film be able to save Lara’s drowning career or not? Wait & Watch “Houseful” releasing on 30th April.
After coming out of break-up with beau Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone is focusing only on her career. The leggy lady also received her first best actress nomination in star screen awards recently for her last year’s hit “Love Aaj Kal”.
Last days there were huge rumors that reality film maker Madhur Bhandarkar has approached Deepika for playing the female lead in sequel of his film “ Corporate” which gave a new identity to Bipasha Basu. But when Deepika was approached and asked on this, actress denied that she is teaming up with Madhur Bhandarkar.
However, she also expressed that she is a great fan of Madhur and if he offer her this film & script is interesting she would love to work with him. He is one of the directors I would love to work with.” said Deepika.

DVD fitness programs will be divided in sections as Beginners workout, advanced workout, play workout etc. language will be hindi and English. Also, bollywood tracks, aerobic music will be incorporated. Bipasha and Deanne will also share fitness tips, beauty tips & diet tips with viewers and there will be featured a special interview of Bipasha on fitness and workout issues.

Bipasha Basu’s first Bengali film Rituparna Ghosh’s Shob Charitro Kalponik in which she is playing the most special and challenging role of her career till date, is almost ready. Basu is playing role of Radhika , a Bengali house wife, who came back her home land “Kolkata” in search of her missing husband. The whole film moves around her. In this movie, for the very first time, Bipasha will appear in a non glamorous look, wearing traditional Bengali sarees and big sindoor teeka on forehead. This is one of the most awaited films of her career. But all the excitement and zeal what Bipasha had when she signed the movie is now lost. Leggy lady is not enthusiastic about release of her must awaited film. The reason is that producers of film are willing to replace Bipasha’s voice with someone else but Bips is not at all ready for this at any cost.
Bold Actress says, “When I first came to know I wouldn’t be dubbing my own voice I was furious. I’ve gone through this process of having my voice dubbed by someone else. No way will I allow this to happen to my first Bengali film. In fact one of the reasons why I waited so long to do a Bengali film was because I wanted to be sure I could carry off the lines.”
Now, Film Producers gave another twist to Bipasha saying she can do dubbing in her own voice for one print of the movie which will be sent for national award as any film cannot be submitted for national award if actor’s own voice is not used in it. But Bipasha is not ready to do dubbing for just one print.
Actress says clear cut,” I’ll not let the film be released with someone else’s voice. I know what that does to a performance. And I won’t dub only for the National Award print. I won’t dub for only one print. I want every print to have my voice.” Actress further added “When my first Bengali film releases I want people to hear my voice. I don’t want some alien voice to speak for me. I don’t care if I get awards or not. Why should I dub only for the National award? But I want my voice to be heard by audiences who know me well enough by now not to be conned by another voice.”
Now there is lots of suspense involved in this controversy, many people are making many contradictory statements. According to Director Rituparno Ghosh, if actress is willing and able to do it, she should be allowed to do dubbing. According to Bipasha also, this issue is not raised from Director, it’s from production people.
On the other hand, COO Mahesh Ramanathan says ,” we have no problems regarding dubbing with Bipasha but director Rituparno Ghosh only can tell why she should not dub in her voice.. Well, Film is almost completed but when will it hit the theaters and whether we will be able to listen Bipasha’s voice in the movie, this is still unclear.
