Sushmita Sen is the first Women who made India proud and took Indian Beauty on top of the planet by wining most precious title “Miss Universe” among all the beauty pageants in year 1994.

Sen won the title at the early age of nineteen and gave the international recognition to Indian beauty and fashion world. Today, inspite of not getting huge commercial success, Sushmita Sen is considered as a DIVA in herself.

After her reign as Miss Universe was over, Sush cam back to India and joined Bollywood in 1996 and made debut with Mahesh Bhatt Directed “Dastak”. Film was flop and Sush tasted Success in 1998 with Salman Khan and Karishma starer Biwi No.1. She also earned “Filmfare Best Suppoting Actress Award” for this Movie.

Sushmita got critical acclaims for her performance in movies like “Samay”,“Aankhen”,“Zindagi Rocs” and Mehgna Gulzar’s Filhaal, in which she worked with Tabu. She has acted almost in every kind of movie from Thriller Samay to Horror Vastushastra, from sensational Filhaal to Romantic Comedy Maine Pyar Kyu kiya. She has also acted in few Tamil films.

Sushmita looked ultimate sexy and gorgeous, when Choreographer – director Farah Khan paired her with SRK in “Main Hu Naa” in 2004. Film blasted the box office and was one of the biggest hits of the year. She showed her dancing skills in song “Mujhe mast maahol mein jeene de “ from movie “Fiza”. Though she did not act in the movie but the dance number was most recognized part of movie and one of the most popular songs of the year.

This Bindass Bengali Bala has always been in limelight for her Bold and Bindass Life style and romantic linkups. Sen Recently celebrated her 33rd Birthday on Nov 19th .

Still spinster, Sushmita has been linked up with many people, director Vikram Bhatt, Sanjay Narang, Actor Randeep Hooda, Ad film Maker Manav Menon,GloboSports Vice President Bunty Sachdeva , Debutant director Mudassar Aziz and  Arabic Businessman Ali Al Awdi. Now Let’s see another angle of her life, In year 2000, Sen took a bold step and adopted an infant girl and gave her name “Renee”. Renee is the name of a French Goddess of love. Renee Always takes most important position in Shusmita’s Life. She had to go court several times and pass lots of legal activities before adopting the child being a single mother. Her Step proves that she has really lived up to the promise she did to world while accepting the Miss Universe Crown. It also proves that apart from being an actress and Miss Universe, she is a true beauty and real DIVA, a nice human being and responsible mother.

Shusmita was honored with  “Rajeev Gandhi Award” for her contributions and achievements in Bollywood in year 2006.

And recent big news of Sushmita’s life last year was getting “Fun Fearless Female Award” in Cosmopolitan magazine’s first awards in India alongside with King Khan.

She has also acted in an international project last year “Karma, Confessions and Holi”- A film based on relationships, Randeep Hooda also was her co actor in the film”. Her forthcoming movies includes “Dulha Mil Gaya” in which she is once again paired with her Main Hu Naa lucky Charm SRK and David Dhawan’s directed Multi starter Comedy  “Do Knot Disturb” where her co actors are govinda, ritesh deskmukh and lara dutta.
