The Indian Artistes and Actors Forum (IAAF) has requested Ambika Soni, the Information and Broadcast Minister to take strict action against Colors channel for indirectly encouraging and promoting pornography in India via introduction of an adult entertainer, as per the channel.
If reports published in a leading daily are to believe, Sunny Leone has become the most searched adult celebrity on web and it’s becoming difficult to keep the children away from accessing her explicit videos and pictures.
However Ambika Soni says, “As far as this particular complaint, I haven’t heard about it, Of course these complaints come up from time to time over content issues of different channels across the television.”
The channel quotes her “Now in recent days they have formed a self-regulatory mechanism under the chairmanship of Justice Shah, the former chief justice of Delhi, so very-very important people with a voice in civil society and in-charge of the safeguarding of such vulnerable issues and sections of society.”
