Lanky lass Shilpa Shetty is touching new heights every day. The elegant lady from bollywood has grabbed another big international offer to act in popular, award winning British television soap opera “EastEnders”.

Local News from London reported that glamorous icon of India has been approached by BBC to play an important character in a new Indian family of the soap.

Two years back, in 2007 also Shilpa got the offer to play the love interest to Phil Mitchell in Eastenders but Shilpa turned down the chance because she wanted to focus on her Bollywood career that time. But since then, Shilpa is spending most of the time in London itself with her jewelry tycoon boyfriend and “soulmate” Raj Kundra. So it is more likely that soon Shilpa will be seen entertaining people on British television.

Eastenders is an opera which describes the domestic and professional lives of the people living in a fictional borough of Walford in East London.The series primarily centers on the residents of Albert Square, a Victorian square of terraced houses, and its neighboring streets, namely Bridge Street, Turpin Road and George Street, and which encompasses a pub, street market, night club, community centre, cafe and various small businesses, in addition to a park and allotments. Shilpa Shetty is one among those rare people who gets a second chance in their life so luckily. Her career graph was on continuous down turn till 2007 start. But In 2007, after winning famous television reality show “Big Brother” in London and racism controversies with late television actress Jade Goody, Shilpa got a new lucky re-start in her career and since then there is no turning back for this gorgeous curvaceous lady.
