Recent news is about her Sangeet & Mehandi ceremony. Sangeet will be on a day before marriage and it’s a important occasion in tradional indian weddings. According to some close friends of Shilpa Shetty, one of the most admired choreographers of bollywood, Ganesh Hegde who is Shilpa’s close friend too will organize the sangeet theme and dances. Ganesh is planning to make Raj and Shilpa dance together on one of Shilpa’s own romantic number. Also, he is planning to make some fusion of punjabi’s and Shetty’s culture and represent those in form of sangeet & dances so that both the families can show their respect and appreciation to each other and that is why Ganesh is waiting for Dulhe Raja Raj’s Family to arrive India and once they are here, he will start practicing with all of them. Apart from these, hot diva herself will perform on mix of her own songs as well.

Sangeet and Wedding date is just couple of weeks away but still media has no idea about the other guests of the party. Everyone is guessing who all will be invited.

The engagement ceremony was planned in very short time and Shilpa’s sister Shamita Shetty could not make her presence there as she is participating in “Big Boss” reality show. A close family friend of Shilpa Shetty told media, “Yes, it’s happening very suddenly. Raj proposed to her two days ago when he gifted her a ring for Diwali. “Raj is very keen that they formalise their relationship. Shilpa Shetty consulted her parents and accepted the proposal.”

Wedding will probably take place in December this year or January next year just after her sister Shamita Shetty will return back from reality show “Big Boss”. Sources claimed that designer Tarun Tahiliani will be designed shilpa’s wedding dress. The reason of choosing Tarun is his expertise in designing traditional Indian dresses. Well, last year Shilpa was the show stopper for Tarun collection in HDIL India Couture Week and she rocked on the show in beautiful lehnga – choli. Traun also told that he will be designing dresses for other important functions like mehandi & Sangeeth cerimonies.
