Prachi Desai is one among those rare lucky people who get huge success and stardom in such a young age and most importantly that’s all she gained by her own hard work and determination, without any God father backing her in industry.

Just 20 years old, Sweet and energetic Prachi started off her career from television queen Ekta Kapoor’s superhit daily soap Kasam Se when she was only seventeen. Prachi portrayed the character of a middle class girl Bani Walia so beautifully and lively that people started recognizing her as girl next door and this school going gal became india’s favorite.

Later, Prachi performed in soni’s Dance reality show Jhalak dhikhla Jaa second season and won the title. But, small screen was not prachi’s destination, she had high spirits to move into bollywood. Luckily at the same time actor-singer-dierctor hot Frahan Akhtar was about to make his acting debut from Musical “Rock On” and he offered prachi the female lead role. Prachi portrayed the tough cum soothing character of Farhan’s wife in the movie who rejoins her hubby with his old friends.

Film rocked at the box-office & made huge collections and grabbed lots of famous awards last year. Both the critics as well as audience loved the sweet cutie prachi’s debut performance and Prachi became a bollywood star.

Presently Prachi has some decent offers in hand from big banners. Her upcoming movies are “Life Partner” with Tushar Kapoor and Govinda and Balaji’s “Once Upon A Time In Mumbai” with hit cum kiss machine Emraan Hashmi and polished actor Ajay Devgan.

In spite of being a bollywood actress Prachi is still her Mom’s gal, lives with her mom and siblings. She still enjoys company of her old pals, her serial mates and pursue her interests whenever gets free time, her hobbies are acting, sports, listening to music and sketching. The kiddo still feels shy performing intimate love scenes with her co stars Tushar and Emraan.
