The sizzling actress of Bollywood Payal Rohtagi is always in news for one or the other reason. This time the diva has put grave allegations on her friend her director Dibaker Banerjee. Talking to one of the news channel yesternight she told that Dibaker of ‘Love Sex or Dhokha’ fame, is a very good friend of Payal Rohatgi and usually visited the girl’s house even during late nights. She has no hesitations in her male directors’ visit during odd hours as long as they are her good friends.
Talking in detail the actress told media that Dibaker is a good friend of her and so she completely trusted him. The previous day she had gone to her studio for audition to get a role in Dibaker’s next film. Due to reasons unknown, he did not cast her in his film moreover didn’t let her know. Next day he came to her house and touched her top to which she objected. But Dibaker was not in a mood to listen to her and tried to pull the top up. Payal Rohatgi then lost her cool and yelled at him.

After this incident she went to media and reported the case to it. When asked whether it was real or a publicity stunt she asked media to let her know if she needs any publicity stunt at this point of time when she has already done ten films, been a contestant in reality shows like Bigg Boss and Zor ka Jhatka. She further said, “I took long to report the incident to media because I was shocked. Dibaker was my close friend and how could he do this to me, I can’t understand.”
“I talked to my publicist and thought a lot before coming in front of media. I am not a newcomer who wants an instant fame and would allege somebody from the industry without any strong grounds,” she added.
When one of the reporters asked she is doing all this because she did not bag the role in Dibaker’s film for which she gave the auditions, she said she doesn’t mind getting a role or not. “It is his film; he is investing money in it. He might not have me suitable for the role so he would have refused the role to me. But at least he should some courtesy that he should shoot a message to me telling me about it,” she said.
But isn’t the B industry known for casting couches? “I am not blaming the entire industry. This industry has given me bread and butter. Why should blame everyone for nothing.” Police might have been resourceful in the episode then why did she not go to the police and lodge an FIR? “See, I live with my granny here in Mumbai, my mom is in Ahmadabad and my dad is in Delhi. Who do you think have so much time to follow up with the police proceedings?” she replied.
Well, after this whole incident has come into limelight, one thing is clear. Whether or not it is a casting couch or a publicity stunt… Dibaker and Payal will be in news for some more time.
