Fashion fame, model turned actress Mughda Godse is just three films old in B-town but her confidence level is very high. In the long span of more than 2 years, Mughda did just three films: Bhandarkar’s fashion & Jail, and Rohit Shetty’s “All the best”.
In her debut film “Fashion”, her role was very challenging where she portrayed a budding model who decides to get marry with a gay designer friend despite of knowing the truth. But in her later release, multi starer comedy “All the best”, she was just kept as a showpiece. Although she did quite good job in Madhur’s “Jail” but still Mughda needs a big break to get set in pure commercial films.
Recently, Mughda attended a media interview and talked in detail. When Mughda was questioned about doing just 3 films in 2 years, actress answered promptly, “I am a hardcore Leo who doesn’t listen to anyone. That’s the way I have always been, I follow my heart.
I have come from Pune to Mumbai on my own and this is the way I intend to stay on in this industry as well. She further adds, “I have been fortunate enough to have worked with some really senior and respected people, I do listen o their comments and their point of views. But then eventually I do what makes me feel alright.”
Presently, Mughda has one new project, a horror film “Help” opposite struggling star Booby Deol. Everyone was quite surprised by Godse decision because earlier she had refused quite good offers and Bobby’s career is almost over in the industry but when she was asked about this, she said, ”
“When it comes to Bobby, he has his own legacy. Working with Deols is always good fun. I have always been a big fan of Dharamji and Sunny. They have a class of their own. He is a thorough gentleman and a very nice co-star to work with.”
“Honestly speaking, it is the script of ‘Help’ which attracted me a lot. There were offers but I did not want to sign up films for the sake of it. When I look back, at least half of these films didn’t even take off. But then I guess my good judgement paid off here,” said the actress.
Well, its tough to figure out, is this decision right for Mugdha or wrong until film releases but this id definitely true that this tall, dusky girl has lots of potential to stay in the bollywood for long run.
