Tamil actress Lekha Washington is new entry in bollywood from south. She is going to kick off her bollywood career very soon from UTV Spot Boy produced film “ Peter Gaya Kaam se” opposite young heartthrob “ Rajiv Khanderwal” . In this film, Rajiv Khanderwal is playing the role of football crazy motorcycle taxi rider and lekha is playing his love interest.

Sexy Lekha Washington was born in Chennai, Tamilnadu & she is of partially Maharastrian , Italian and Burmese descent. She has done graduation in film making from prestigious NID institute. Lekha started her acting career from theater, later she turned out as a VJ and anchored popular shows like PCO & Connect in SS Music and also anchored first IPL tournament, next she hosted international twenty-twenty tournament in Canada .

However, she started her filmi career as a lead actress in director Chetan Shah’s English film Framed in the year 2007. Then, she did a cameo role in tamil movie Unnale Unnale and next she got chance to do female lead role in tamil film Jayamkondaan opposite actor Vinay Rai, film was superhit , everybody liked lekha’s acting style and so lekha grabbed lots of appreciation and media attention for her wonderful touching performance.

Multitalented Lekha Washington is running her theater group “Khel” as a director for past eight years. She has hosted variety of shows which includes “Travel Around the world” as well. She loves adventurous sports and trained in horse riding, football, martial arts etc that is the reason why she was found perfectly suitable for her role in “ Peter Gaya Kaam Se’’.
