She has stunned everyone with her extraordinary performance in box-office latest hit, Prakash Jha’s “Rajneeti” and crossed a new milestone in her just seven year old acting career but now Katrina Kaif wants to a something new which she has never done till date and that is a typical, highly romantic, totally emotional Love story like what is seen in Yash Chopra films.
Recently, Katrina told her desire during a telephonic interview in Spain. Pretty lass said, “There are a lot of sides to me that are yet to be tapped. After having done ‘Raajneeti’, it isn’t that I am going to do just female-oriented roles because the film has worked in my favour. I want to keep exploring and experimenting with characters and filmmaker.”
She further added, “In fact, right now, I would love to have a one boy-one girl Yashji type of love story in hand or, say, play a loud, boisterous girl – something on the lines of Hemaji’s role in ‘Seeta Aur Geeta’. Those are fun and interesting roles too. Why limit myself?”
When Katrina was questioned, does she fear failure after getting such tremendous success in career, she confidently answered, “I don’t get scared. It’s wrong if people say a hit is expected of me all the time. Of course, everyone fears failure, but for me there is no added pressure to succeed. It is up to the audience to accept or reject a film and I am happy my audience has supported me so far.”
Presently, Kat is busy in shooting of Zoya Akhtar’s anticipated film “Zindagi Milegi Na Dobara” which also casts Hrithik Roshan, Farhan Akhtar & Abhay Deol in main roles.
