Katrina, John and Neil New York
After more than 2 months of long strike in multiplexes, audience were looking to hit the theaters and wanted a good film and director Kabir Khan did not disappoint them, his film Newyork goes perfect on viewer’s expectations. New York is going houseful at most of the places and doing good business overseas as well.
Director Kabir Khan has touched a tedious & sensitive subject with great care and represented it beautifully with simplicity, without adding any more useless masala. John, Neil Nitin , Katrina and Irfaan Khan, all of them, did full justice with their characters and gave a wonderful performance. Especially for Katrina, after watching the film, both audience and critics praised and quoted that it is the best performance of Katrina in her bollywood career till date.

NewYork is a highly emotional and practical representation of post 9/11 attacks and its consequences. Film shows sentiments, pains and sensitivity to all, the muslims, the americans, human relationships. This is a story of, friends, politics, terrorism, love and one sided love. It explains, How the situations changes people mindset, their path in life and turn a good human to wrong directions.
Story keeps viewers in suspense that who is going in evil direction and who is right and speaking truth and this suspense maintains a thrill throughout till the movie ends.
Film starts when Omar (Neil Nitin Mukesh) got arrested and interrogated by FBI and then he is sent as a secret FBI agent after his friend Sameer ( John).film goes to flashback , when Omar, Sameer and their hot friend Maya (Katrina) used to study in same college. The love triangle between trio resulted in Katrina and John’s wedding and their lives got separated with Neil. They again met when Neil comes as secret agent of FBI to investigate his friend Sameer, who is under doubt of being a terrorist.
The Katrina looked ultimate beautiful and naturally hot throughout the movie. She played all the different shades of Maya’s character, a friend, a lover, a wife naturally.few days back, Katrina herself quoted that she was herself in NewYork. The lanky lass looked sexy and innocent both at the very same time… for the very first time she played such emotional character of a loving wife and mother.
When Katrina watched the special screening of Newyork in yashraj studio, she broke down and could not stop her tears. After release everybody loved her act and she is getting rave reviews from everyone.
So, the exceptionally pretty Katrina impressed more with her acting rather than her looks this time. Well done!!! Katrina. Keep it up.
