Nearly a decade ago, in the year 2000, when Katrina Kaif made her debut in bollywood from multi starrer “Boom” which was a utter flop, nobody ever imagined that this tall girl from London who even does not know hindi very well will be one of the top actresses of this industry one day but it happened and today Katrina is one of most successful, beautiful and sexy heroines of tinsel town.

But Katrina got great compliment from none other than Shenshah of bollywood , Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh addressed Katrina as “Most Popular Star”. The full blog entry of that day was filled up with praises for Kat. Big B illustrated how and when he met Katrina first time and how shy & reticent she was then. He wrote that Katrina was a shy but keen girl who was curious about how she will look in camera , on screen but director did not allow her to look on monitor. Later Amit Ji dragged her in front of monitor and she saw her first look on screen.
Amitabh also revealed some memories of movie “Sarkar “ in which Katrina played the love interest of Abhishek. He wrote that during a common party after the shoot was over, everybody went to a club in Dubai but club authority did not allow Katrina to enter as he said she was an underage girl . At the end, Amitabh wrote, “Ms Kaif has come such a long way in such a short time”.
With her every movies Katrina is reaching a step more towards number 1 title and paving her own path of success. Many of her big movies are going to release in 2009 and 2010. These movies includes Rajkumar Santoshi’s “Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani” in which she is first time paired opposite any hero o f her age group (Ranbir Kapoor) , other one is multi starrer “Blue” , Venus Production’s “Race 2” & Priyadarshan’s “De Dhana Dhan”. So Katrina will be seen on silver screen all the year through.
