After wining the most prestigious National film award in best supporting actress category for Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Fashion”, bollywood’s so called Talli girl Kangna Ranaut is flying on cloud nine, gained a new level of confidence and make a heavy revision in her fee.

According to some tabloids, when recently Kangna was approached to sign a new film, she demanded 5 crore as her fee. And tv actor turned producer Anuj Saxena showed no hesitation at all to accept the proposal & signed Kangna immediately. Pooja Kashyap, COO of Anuj Saxena’s production company Maverick Productions confirmed this and stated, “Kangna is a great actress. She adds lots of value to a film. What we have paid her is fully justified.”

This untitled movie will be a romantic musical and “Deadline” fame Tanveer Khan will direct it. Famous politician from Bihar- Jharkhand region, Ram Vilas Paaswan’s son Chirag Passwan will play the main lead and make his debut in bollywood via this film. Film’s story has space for three heroines and other two actresses will be signed soon.

Well, five crore is quite a big amount for an actress and with this step Kangna has put herself among big names like Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra & Aishwarya Rai. Recently Aishwarya Rai charged 10 crore for a film, Priyanka Chopra charged six crore for her latest release “Pyar Impossible” which was a big flop and Kareena Kapoor is charging seven crores for upcoming “Golmal 3”.
