Juhi Chawla had not completely quitted after her marriage and children.
For years she had been appreciated by her fans and they still want her to be on screen. She is doing a project ‘I am’ of Onir which is slated to be released this Friday.
But is Juhi Chawla a method actress? Absolutely not! She reveals that she doesn’t like to carry back her characters home.

“For acting to be effective, you have to live that moment completely to make it as real as possible. So when I am shooting, I am completely in tune with the character I am playing. But I don’t carry that back home or in between shots also as I don’t want to be like that character,” said Juhi Chawla.
Juhi Chawla is excited about her upcoming film where she will be seen along with Manisha Koirala, Sanjay Suri, Purab Kohli, Rahul Bose and Nandita Das. Juhi is playing a Kashmiri girl in this film.
‘The part of the story that I feature in is loosely inspired by Sanjay Suri’s life. It revolves around a Kashmiri Pandit girl Megha, who returns to Srinagar with her family after many years after fleeing the city because of militancy,’ said Juhi
Is she really happy with the character she is playing? ‘I was quite happy with my role because the casting for this film is very right. For instance, no one will be able to imagine me in Afia’s role (Nandita Das’s character) because Nandita is perfect for it,’ said Juhi.
Besides ‘I Am’ which is a collection of four stories running parallel to each other,
Juhi has played important parts in other films of Onir like My Brother Nikhil and Bas Ek Pal. ‘I AM’ is her third film with Onir.
