Players is remake of famous British film “The Italian Job”, it seems Bollywood will never stop to copy foreign movies. Get a life guys and do something original.

The movie players is so much star studded that it is considered to be hit just because it has got all big shots in it. Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Bobby Deol and Sonam Kapoor are the main stars of the movie. However Sexy Bipasha Basu is stealing all the show.

Bipasha Basu is playing the role of Riya in the movie. The movie is set to release on 6th January 2012.

For the Hindi remake, Abhishek Bachchan and Neil Nitin Mukesh were finalized to play the male leads and Sonam Kapoor was announced the selected one to cut the story short about the confusion of leading lady. It was therefore considered that the matter was over.

A source from the industry reveals, “There was more to it though with Bipasha Basu coming into picture as well. Suddenly the film became a two heroine film. Since Abbas-Mustan had clarified that Bipasha was not in the film for a cameo but instead a full fledged role, tongues started wagging around whether it would be her or Sonam who would be re-enacting the all-important part of Charlize.”

But the latest buzz is that now an all new part is being written to do justice with Bips baby and to add more glamour and sexiness to the film. So while Sonam continues to fill Charlize’s shoes, Bipasha too joins hands with all the boys and gets into an action mode.

When Bipasha was asked about the same, she said, “I have always opted for the part that I am currently doing rather than that of Sonam.”

“See, ‘The Italian Job’ has been taken to an altogether different level by Abbas-Mustan for ‘Players’”, says Bipasha who has also worked with the director duo in her debut film ‘Ajnabee’ as well as her last big hit ‘Race’, “Every character is pretty much pivotal to the film. In any case, I love this role more than anything else. It is like a hero’s role and I get to kick butt. Even boys in our film say that they would have loved to step in.”

One is one of the mot awaited thriller  “Players” with Sonam Kapoor & Abhishek Bachhan and directed by Abbas-Mustan, next is director Rohan Sippy’s “Dum Maro Dum” and that is once again with Abhishek and Pratiek Babbar and above all, a Hollywood project entitled “Singularity” oppsite hollywood dude Josh Harnnet. “Singularity” is an epic, sweeping and riveting tale of an impossible love set across two time periods and continents.

Bipasha Basu is playing the character of “Tulaja Naik” , a Maratha warrior in the film and this is the very first time that she is playing a period character. Apart from Bipasha, actor Abhay Deol is also doing a pivotal role in this action packed epic drama.

Gorgeous Bipasha Basu has always been very experimental and had tried variety of roles right from the start of her career like hi-tech career woman in “Corporate”, a clever greedy woman in “Jism’, another negative shade character in “Ajnabi”, a tarot card reader in “Rakht”, handling sensitive issues in “Lamhaa” and many more mean to say she had tried almost every genre: comedy, glamorous, romantic, serious and off-beat even she did bit of action in “Dhoom 2” but now Bipasha Basu will be soon seen in full too action. Because, director duo Abbas Mastan has signed Bips for an action packed in role in bollywood Hindi remake of acclaimed Hollywood flick “ The Italian Job”. The movie will be entitled “Players” and apart from Bipsha, Abhishek Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bobby Deol will also play the pivotal roles in it.

Other than “Players”, Bips also has director Rohan Sippy’s upcoming project “Dum Maaro Dum” in which she is playing a Goan gal and the most interesting thing about the film is special hot and intimate love scenes between Bipasha and Teelegu actor Rana Duggapati.

Even she is receiving lots of appreciation for her performance in this week release “ Aakrosh”. it Seems like Bipasha’s career is moving on right track.

And besides her professional life, her love life is also going smoothly. She and beau John are still together even after almost decade old relationship and that also in such a showbiz world where relationships just changes its color faster than seasons.

The ad was shot long back in the year 1990 for New York Lotto commercial, when Bipasha Basu was a popular model. Actor Vivek Oberoi had also acted in the ad. In the ad, Bips is shown as a princess whose wedding is going to take place that day and she is getting ready for the ceremony. Vivek has been shown as a multi millionaire Prince, going to marry Bipasha. During bath scene in the ad, Bipasha Basu is shown topless, almost semi nude.

When tabloids contacted Bipasha Basu about this, her spoke person confirmed Bipasha’s presence. Her manager tells a daily, “Bipasha Basu had done this ad in 1999 when she was modelling for Ford Modelling Agency in New York. It was done as an international assignment and was meant for the international market. I don’t know why such an old ad has surfaced now.” While Vivek’s spokesperson says they have no “idea” about this ad.

Whatever it is good or bad but this is definitely favoring Bipasha Basu as Bengali Hottie is back in news again in such a bold way.

“It is tough, really tough, because I don’t really understand Urdu,” Basu told. “But I’m never one to shun the urge to learn. I find it great fun. And my director Rahul Dholakia is very patient and chilled out.

The other star cast of “Lamha” features Sanjay Dutt, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher. The film is based on Kashmir. The story of film revolves around the lives of central characters, an army man, played by Sanjay Dutt and his beloved Aziza played by Bipasha and various critical political issues of Kashmir have been covered through out the film. Currently, film’s dubbing is going on and with the help of sound recordist Pankaj Sikka, Bips is giving best final shots to her voice.

Other than “Lamha”, Bipasha has few other challenging projects in hand which are going to release soon. These are Rohan Sippy’s “Dum Maro Dum” whichstars Abhishek Bacchan opposite her, Rituparna Ghosh’s “Pankh”, Anees Bazmee’s upcoming comedy “No Problem”. Rest, she has also done a special guest appearance in Mani Ratnam’s much anticipated upcoming drama “Raavana”.

Well as everyone knows, Bipasha is of very determined kind in nature. Lets see how good will this Bengali bala be able to pick up Kashmiri Urdu accent.

Bipasha wants to see her parents and sis every day and that’s why she is taking out some time from her hectic shooting schedule and busy searching a new home for her parents near her own flat in Khar or Bandra area. Actually Bipasha’s parents and younger sis Vijayeta live in Andheri and Bipasha’s own individual flat is in Bandra and because of Bipasha’s tight work schedule she is unable to go Andheri to see her family each day.

This is getting painful for Bips and thus she is busy contacting real estate agents in search of new more spacious apartment for her parents, closer to her residence in Khar or Bandra. Bipasha herself told to tabloids, “I am trying hard to locate a nice place. I like to see my parents everyday. After work the distance gets tough.”

On the other hand, Bipasha is quite excited about her new film “Pankh” which is releasing coming Friday, 2nd of April. Bengali director, Sudipto Chattopadhyay is directing the movie and Sanjay Gupta is producing it. Other star-cast include Maradona Rebello who is going to make his debut through this film, Lilette Dubey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ronit Roy, Daya Shanker, Kiran Karmarkar, Sanjeeda Shekh and Rohit Purohit.

“Pankh” is a unique story which revolves around a child film actor baby Kusum, which acts as a girl child artist but in reality she is a boy. Film Producer Sanjay Gupta told during a press conference, ” Pankh is a wild ride through the underbelly of the film industry,’ said film’s producer Sanjay Gupta.

This was a story that needed telling. It is a film that will touch every sensitive soul. ‘Pankh’ is Bollywood’s wildest take so far.” The most exciting thing about this film is, Bipasha is playing an imaginary character in the movie who exists in hero’s mind and depending on the moods and emotional status of hero’s mind, Bipasha will appear in nine different looks and shades.

DVD fitness programs will be divided in sections as Beginners workout, advanced workout, play workout etc. language will be hindi and English. Also, bollywood tracks, aerobic music will be incorporated. Bipasha and Deanne will also share fitness tips, beauty tips & diet tips with viewers and there will be featured a special interview of Bipasha on fitness and workout issues.

Well, apart from films, Bipasha always does something new and unique and that too with full enthusiasm and confidence. This New Year she earned Rs 1 Crore for a New Year eve live performance and now this DVD launch. Lets see, what will be customers’ feedback for diva’s workout DVD.
